Used Takahashi MC LE 50mm 2" eyepiece

Condition: This is a used Takahashi 50mm eyepiece in excellent condition.  It has some normal wear on the barrel, and the optics are clean.  Comes in a bolt case with ill-fitting dust caps, but no box.  

The Takahashi LE Series Eyepiece produces images that live up to the Takahashi name - a name that has become synonymous with terms like "quality" and "precision" in today's amateur astronomy market. Each eyepiece is parfocal, which means little or no re-focusing when changing eyepieces. The five element Erfle design means an excellent 52-degree apparent field of view and equally excellent eye relief on all models but the high magnification 2.8mm and 3.6mm.

The Takahashi LE long eye relief eyepieces are a high quality line of eyepieces featuring Takahashi's proprietary LE deisgn and a 52 degree apparent field of view. Available in focal lengths from 2.8mm through 50mm, these eyepieces provide superior color correction and saturation and exceptional sharpness. The long eye relief makes the LE's easier for people who wear glasses.

LE eyepieces have an apparent field of view of 52° and their optical design consists of 5 lenses divided into 3 groups.

All are fully multi-coated for ultimate light transmission. These qualities combine to enhance the viewing through your telescope as well as allow you a comfortable viewing session, even if you wear eyeglasses.
