- There is a tiny "hair" of some kind, about a quarter inch long, sticking out behind the objective lenses, on the inside of the tube. The glass is otherwise in perfect, clean condition, as this "hair" is behind the glass. We have no idea what this is; however, it will not affect your use or enjoyment of the scope.
- The dew shield on the front of the scope has scratches in the paint where the previous owner tightened his glass solar filter onto it too tightly. Obviously, this also will not affect your views or enjoyment of the scope.
