Attach your smaller astro-cams (or a 36mm EFW) to a CAA
This is one of those miscellaneous parts that you may never need—but are critical to a few folks.
If you want to mount a smaller ZWO astrocamera (like the ASI294MC/MM Pro, an ASI585MC/MM Pro, etc.) to the back of your ZWO CAA, then this widget is for you!
Likewise, if you've been trying to use the CAA with a ZWO 36mm EFW (that is, for unmounted filters), then again, this little widget is for you.
What This Widget Does
The ZWO CAA comes with two adapters included, one each for 54mm- and 48mm-diameter threads, which are now common diameters for telescopes, astro-cameras, and accessories (especially later refractors). Less common, but still in use, is the older 42mm diameter, and its CAA adapter is not included with the CAA.
This widget is that "missing" part. It's how you'd connect to the ZWO 36mm filter wheel, the cameras listed above, or the 42mm-diameter (or "T2") extension tubes that come with the smaller ZWO cameras. It simply gets installed just like one of the two included adapter plates.
(If you have a 1.25" or 2" EFW, then you don't need this.)
