This is a used HyperStar v.2 lens that will fit a Celestron 9.25 EdgeHD. It is in great condition, the optics have a few marks in the coatings and the body is unmarked. These can be seen in the provided photos. Includes a dust cap and case.
Note: The v.2 is an older version and has been superseded by the v.4 which is the description provided below.
The HyperStar 9.25 works with any Fastar ready C9.25 and transforms it from a f/10 planetary scope into a f/2.2 imaging powerhouse — 25× faster, with a coma-free field over 3° wide. No guiding, no equatorial wedge required.
CAMERA COMPATIBILITY
The Standard Camera Adapter included with every HyperStar 9.25 has an M42 threaded top and is pre-set for cameras with 17.5 mm of backfocus and accepts 2" mounted M48 Filters.
